Our researchers have many years of experience in the didactic activities coordinated by the Chair of Medieval Archaeology of the University of Florence: high-level courses, university courses, educational activities and workshops for children.
Laboratori Archeologici San Gallo realize educational experiences for museum institutions and for primary and secondary schools of every order and degree. Any educational is designed to tell and deepen specific historical themes using archeology, and it’s discoveries as an interpretation.
We firmly believe that the shared experience of scientific research and archaeology can give the children the basis of a historical conscience to interpret the Cultural Heritage as a common heritage, beyond the expressions of different cultures. We are also sure that they can find ideas and references for their own future in the rediscovery of the past.
Each educational is designed in accordance with the guidelines of the ministerial programming.
